* Methodology development of X-ray diffraction residual stress analysis in heterogeneous materials (materials with properties gradient, multiphase materials etc…);

* Study of relationship between microstructure evolution, material processing and internal stress (surface science, thin films, surface treatment etc…) by experimentation and by numerical modelization

* Oxidation kinetics and diffusion mechanism of alloys and metals at high temperature
