Dr Mohamed MELLAH (Associated professor at the University Paris Saclay)

He works, since the beginning of his career, at the frontiers of organic synthesis, catalysis, and electrochemistry. In addition to his work in enantioselective (heterogeneous) catalysis, he possesses a recognized expertise in electrosynthesis and electrocatalysis. His research expertise focuses on the development of more environmentally friendly catalytic methodologies based on the use of electrochemistry instead of chemical reductants or oxidants usually used in excess.

His research is currently devoted to the development of samarium-based electrocatalytic procedures for chemoselective reductions.
